Positive: We really loved this spot! Veronique and Glen were absolutely amazing hosts, so kind and went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. There is hot water in the shower! The food is great, and there are options for food (a rarity on Tanna). The place itself is really pretty and they put lovely flowers everywhere. We felt really looked after. It’s a great base to explore the Western side of the island, including the blue holes, blue cave and the giant banyan tree, without paying the prices for the resorts nearby.

Positive: Quite basic but it’s lovely. Bungalows are pretty clean and spacious, no fans or AC inside rooms though. You will find a few droppings and bits from some small animals in your bungalow like geckos. You have hot showers & there is a mosquito net over the beds. There is a short cut you can walk it’s about 1 kilometre to the main road. Lovely beach out the front, it’s very rocky tho but it’s nice to go down and look at the rock pools at low tide and there are some places you can dip into the ocean on a low tide. As close as you are to the airport you have no reception here. Food was quite nice but a little expensive especially when you are on a budget. Definitely bring extra snacks and dessert if you like. Thank you Glen for keeping me company!

Negative: You have to pay extra for coffee 700vat. One of my pillows was mouldy. You could see it through the pillow slip. No one around much during the day which made it hard to get lunch.

Summary: Wonderful stay. Definitely recommend

Positive: It was in front of the ocean Lovely kittens to Play with

Negative: Try to be independant with transport, food and activities. Food is very simple and overpriced. You can get much better at big resorts for similar prices, or go to lekanel town, there are fruit markets there and you will pay 4 times less for much better food. Transportation was overpriced. Just walk to the main road and you will pay 3 times less. We had a situation with activities because of poor organisation. We felt like we were responsable for their poor organisation! The rooms were rundown with lots of insects, Lizard and mouse defecation. Pillows were stained and the room was very humid.
